I've asked around it's either moving things with his mind or reading thoughts from our minds. I'm guessing if he could move things he'd be doing it a lot more. at least guessing from what scott told me about him. he might know your power already if its the mind thing.

[Yeah, she does. What she doesn't know is whether or not Erica knows about Boyd. How she's the last vault member standing.

The lunar eclipse.

A while ago, here in Asgard there was a tree that was giving people memories from their future. I saw me asking Boyd what an eclipse would do to us, but we didn't get the answer. At least I didn't. I tried to ask Derek, but he didn't answer me.

I know I die. I know a lot of people die. It hasn't happened for me, though. But I know about it. I've known I die for a long time, though. The rest of them only because Derek told me.

[There's a long pause on the other end of the line because Cora isn't really sure how to respond to this. There's part of her that doesn't want to tell her the truth, because she remembers Erica thinking - hoping - that it would make them stronger right before she tried to make a run at Kali and maybe Cora should have stopped her.

Then again, would tearing each other apart during the full moon have been better or worse?

Still, she doesn't want to lie to her. She's here, she's away, she's ... dead. How much more harm can it do?]

well that sucks. things get worse back home. I know.

here though derek and I don't get along. Well we didn't. he was here before and I came from before he had met me. things didn't go well. he avoided and then he was always trying to leave telling me that we didn't belong here. it was a mess. it never got good and then he left. Isaac and I figured it was better. but then he came back and didn't remember any of it. it's a new start, but it's hard because I still remember him telling scott I was useless without the bite. even if it wasn't really him.

[Funny thing is - Cora can't say she couldn't hear Derek saying it. She wishes that she could, but she can't. All the same, Derek is getting better - he's trying. That should count for something.]

He's not an alpha anymore. I don't know if anyone's told you that. He gave it up for me.

[there's a pause.]

[She knows how can seem, but Derek never wants anyone to get hurt - not unless they're threatening his pack. It also may sound like she's just trying to advocate for her big brother, but it doesn't hurt that it's also true.]

I knew he wasn't an alpha but I didn't know he gave it up for you.

[Before, the method might not have mattered, but meeting Cora - spending all those months with just her and Boyd in that small space. She's glad that it was something of value instead of something dumb.]

I know he's trying. It's just harder for me to accept it when the Derek I had here for almost a year didn't try at all. That's more time than I had with him in Beacon Hills and I ran away from him there. That was after a few months.

[She won't push or meddle, not that she is much of a meddler to begin with. This is something they'll have to do on their own. It'll just take a little time.]

it's not stiles. stiles and I used to get along really well, but then I came back and he came back and now we just argue. his name is sam and he's not from beacon hills.

[Because the boys and Beacon Hills can be idiots a lot of the time - or at least the ones she's met.]

[Then there's a bit of time because Erica is trying to go through all the images saved of Sam on her bracelet and for some reason about 50% of them are of Sam's abs or something even more indecent and the other half are him making odd faces to cheer her up while she's at work.
