[Even if here seems kind of crazy, she's glad she's somewhere away from Beacon Hills and living. Sometimes that makes all the difference.]

I'm glad I'm here too. I have a boyfriend here. Derek hates him.

[Because if you want a consistent way to raise Derek's blood pressure, that would be it.]

it's not stiles. stiles and I used to get along really well, but then I came back and he came back and now we just argue. his name is sam and he's not from beacon hills.

Already a step up.

[Because the boys and Beacon Hills can be idiots a lot of the time - or at least the ones she's met.]

Is he cute?

[That's totally a girly thing to talk about but whatever. She occasionally behaves like a teenage girl.]

[Then there's a bit of time because Erica is trying to go through all the images saved of Sam on her bracelet and for some reason about 50% of them are of Sam's abs or something even more indecent and the other half are him making odd faces to cheer her up while she's at work. She settles on this one, though.]

[Erica can't see it but she's laughing It's a good face, she can't help herself. And it's not a bad picture. She can still appreciate the cuteness along with laughing at that face.]

He seems nice. As much as you can tell from a picture, anyway.

he plays guitar and sings, too. but I've known him here almost the whole time I've been here. I think even if we weren't dating we'd be best friends.

I'm actually awake now if you wanted to meet maybe? we can try to find something to do. I can show you were things are if you want?

[Seeing her would be really good, actually, and she could do with a tour from someone who knows the area.]

Sounds good. Just tell me where you want to meet.

you can come here if you want. the house is in sigyn and I can send you a map over the bracelet.

That works. Send me the map and I'm on my way.

[Erica sends the map and then moves to actually shove all of her blankets and pillows back into her own room. With Isaac gone, she's been sleeping out on the couch more and more just to have that sense of awareness of her surroundings.]

[It doesn't take her long to find it - she's got a good sense of direction, and she's knocking on the door of the house lightly. There's still something about this that feels slightly surreal, but she's going with it for now.]

[Erica answers the door and she's pretty sure that for the first time since she's arrived, she's going to be the right face to the right person without anything held back. There won't be any waiting for her to be someone else, just an instant state of being okay.]

I'm glad you didn't get lost. The first few days I was here, I got lost too many times to admit to.

[There's still a bit of relief in her features, because yes, she's actually real and here, but for the most part it's business as usual.

Not that they ever really had business as usual, but they could figure it out.]

The map helped. I've always had a good sense of direction.

[She knows that neither of them are the type to hug each other, but there's a moment where Erica almost considers it. Instead, she just opens the door wider and gestures.]

C'mon in. It's kind of empty, but it's clean at least.

[Cora nods as she makes her way inside. She wouldn't have minded the hug, honestly, but Erica's right - they're not really the type. She glances around as she makes her way inside.]

It's nice. How long have you been living here?

A few months... maybe longer. It's -- I went home recently, so time still feels a bit disconnected. I was here, but then I was back home and then I was here again.

[She shrugs.] Do you want something to drink?

[She shakes her head at the offer for the drink, before turning back to her again.]

When you came back did you feel ... weird?

[By weird she means sick. She's trying to figure out if it's something she went through or if it's just the new people that seem to be feeling it.]

I had been in the vault for months, so I think all of the pent up need for that lunar cycle was just resting in me. Then I came here, and there's no werewolf in me here, so all that energy had no where to go and I think that was the problem.

I was mostly restless, which has happened before when I came back from being home. So, I didn't think it was weird.

[Cora's face falls slightly at the mention of the vault and all that energy. She remembers her particular release, which in the end involved her tearing chunks out of her own brother so that she wouldn't kill someone else. She still hates that loss of control, and she's been trying ever since to claw her way back from that.]

Not the kind of weird I mean. I was ... sick. Kind of like I'd been drowning.

Drowning? [Erica is concerned about that. She hasn't heard of that before.]

Cora, that's... that's not something I've heard about before. Are you alright?

[She nods a bit.]

I slept most of it off. The rest of it faded. I'm not the only one though, it seemed to happen to a lot of people who just got here.

Maybe it's because this whole place seems to be getting worse.

[She sighs.] Isaac is out there now. He's on some quest or something. Off fighting or looking for something. [She didn't want to think about it. She knew it was important though.]

[She nods a bit.]
