[And then she finishes eating and the waitress brings the check. Erica pays, since she has money and she said she would and then she realizes that she doesn't have shoes still.]
We have to stop at home first. I just need shoes, so it'll take a second. [Though, she might want to shower and put on clean bra and underwear and ... yeah.]
I might take a shower. It'll be fast though. [BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT NEED TO TAKE A LONG SHOWER.... she already had an orgasm or two the night before.]
DINER SCENE DISSOLVES TO HEL APARTMENT SCENE: enter erica and isaac.
isaac does things.
erica rushes to room, grabs clothing, towels, and goes to bathroom.
MONTAGE OF ERICA GETTING READY. (close-up on mark on her neck and her fingers rubbing at it. out damn spot!)
QUICK CUT TO: erica emerging with shoes in hand.
The two exit the apartment and we do a slow skycrane shot to show them walking across the grass & toward the other district.
ARRIVE: SIGYN INTER. 1
Erica opens the door to the small house. The tour begins. Opens into living room. To the left is kitchen. Kitchen exits to a sunroom/screened porch.
Remarks are made about Isaac and his lack of sleeping with doors/windwos closed. She figures this will help him out when it's too cold to sleep on benches. She's teasing.
Hallway toward the back is the bedrooms. 1st bath is across from two bedrooms. Erica tells him he can pick which one he wants. She gets the master bedroom. It has its own bathroom.
Both enter the larger bathroom.
Erica opens the small medicine cabinet.
See, I'm going to have so much room for anything I want, because I'm not going to need any of my medication anymore.

[Alright, well after that Act, Isaac is plenty curious about the master bathroom, making a comment or two on how Erica gets the biggest room whine whine, but it's really good that she gets the bathroom, right?
Either way, he's curious when she mentions the meds, tilting his head a little.]
...what do you mean?
[He doesn't want her to have any sort of relapses :c]
A few days ago... I asked Merlin to heal it all. Just ... no more small amounts at a time. All in one go. He told me it was really risky and that he wasn't sure he could do it, but that he'd talk to Sigyn. She agreed to help and I didn't tell anyone else except Sam and Stiles -- because if this didn't work and something went wrong I didn't want you guys to go after God.
But it worked.
[She opens her arms in a slight 'ta-da' fashion.]
I've been off my medicine now for a straight twenty-four hours and I feel fine. I know -- I know it's a short time, but I felt different when she was done. Like ... I don't know, like things were right.
I still have all my meds, but - that's as a back-up plan. I don't want to rely on them anymore. I want to be able to help if it comes down to it.
I don't want this place to be able to take advantage of me again.
I made him go with me. I needed someone there that... if something went wrong, he'd be able to tell people. I didn't want to tell any of you guys... not after what happened with Merlin. [She didn't want them looming over a God while she tried to heal her.]
He was a fox at the time anyway -- still a pain in the ass, but I knew that Sam would worry too much and you guys... I love you all, but you sort of loom and threaten.
[The step he takes back might not have been something anyone else noticed, but Erica notices instantly. It's the kind of reaction that makes her stomach drop and an odd panic feeling rise up in the back of her throat. It's something she hasn't felt in a while and for a moment she wonders how ironic it would be to have a seizure right after explaining how she won't have them anymore. It passes though and she realizes that it's just panic all by itself and it comes only from the thought that he's upset with her.]
Yes. [She says it quietly, nearly defeated, as if she's the young child who knows she's in trouble but isn't sure when the anger is coming.]
[He's not quite sure if he can be there right now, and Isaac takes a step back before pressing his shoulder against the doorway, his mouth pulled back in a tight smile.]
I should get going. I'm meeting a friend for lunch.
[This is... well, the opposite of what she wanted to happen. She had wanted this to be a good thing. She had wanted this to be good news and for him to be happy for her and instead everything that they had talked about that whole morning felt like it didn't even matter. All the jokes and laughter and not so light teasing -- maybe she should have told him sooner. She hadn't really told anyone and she knows that it's because Stiles knew and Isaac didn't.
At least, that's what she thinks it is.]
I'm sorry, Isaac. [The apology falls out of her mouth nearly as quickly as she can think to say it. Her arms fold over her chest, pulling herself inward and trying not to focus on his body language in relation to hers.] Everything with the sleep walking and the -- the things I thought I did. I decided to at least try whatever I could to not be so weak, so that maybe whoever did that... so they wouldn't try it again.
[She's not sure she wants to bring up that she decided after he died. That she'd been left alone with the thought that Isaac had died and she hadn't been there... not that she wanted to be the one to -- no, that's not it at all, but she was tired of being shuffled aside because people were worried she wasn't strong enough. Isaac had let her fight with him before -- she thought he'd understand.]
I should've told you what I was going to do. [In a way, not any way that she might realize it in the moment, but Isaac had become a surrogate alpha to Erica. Not that she could understand that concept, especially not with how things with her and Derek always went, but the big brother part of Isaac was something she relied on and now, now that she can see how she's let him down the guilt weighs on her.]
[Isaac watches her for a moment, because it's true, he's upset. But he also knows that this is supposed to be a good thing, a big deal, and making it about himself is selfish and cruel of him. He can't help feeling hurt, but he can help how he reacts externally, can't he?
So he offers her a little smile and shakes his head, trying to push aside the idea that Erica went to Stiles for support before going to him- he, who is supposedly her best friend and the one who's been trying to help her with this all this time. Isaac remembers what happened last time a seizure blew up like this, remembers how awful and selfish he was toward her then. Maybe it wasn't such a surprise that she wouldn't trust him with this.
Maybe it's his fault.]
Nah, don't worry about it. You- you wouldn't want to get my hopes up. I know it's not the easiest thing to talk about.
[He shrugs and lifts off of the frame, ready to move back through the apartment.]
[Even if he seems to shift away from that tense anger, she knows that it's not okay. Even if he says it is, it's not.]
I just wanted to get better and I didn't want you to worry that something could go wrong. I just wanted you to know that it had worked. [She still feels like she's saying it wrong. The shift of conversation is welcome, though. She nods.]
The sun room -- past the kitchen -- it's why I picked it. [She moves to head back that way, hoping he'll follow and not take the door out instead.]
I know you sleep with the window open sometimes and I thought -- in the winter the window being open is cold, but this way you can be outside without actually being outside. It's a glass ceiling, but we can put up those screens and some plants.
You're the only person I've shown it too and the only one that I need to make sure wants to live here. If you don't like it -- any of it, I'll keep looking.
[Isaac is fine with moving on- it's probably for the best anyway, and when he listens to what Erica is saying, there's a little twinge of guilt at the memory of his possession. Back when he thought it was her, when he was too paranoid to sleep inside.
Guilty or not though, it's a touching gesture and he nods.]
I... I like it, yeah. This is definitely a good place to be.
[The further away from that topic and thinking about him being upset with her, the easier it is for her to just relax.]
I really liked it. I figure we can paint, steal the furniture from Hel... because, who is gonna miss it... maybe find some other stuff. Eventually, it'll be nice.
One of Sam's friends from home is in Thor. Maybe I can ask her to help? [Brittany will help. I write her. It's in the fine print that I can make her do whatever I want.]
Either way, it'll fill the space up. [She turns to look at him, ALL THE HOPE IN THE WORLD IS IN HER EYES.] So, we'll take it?
[Erica just grins. She knows that she jumped the gun finding the place, Derek had said he would. She knows that she kept her healing from him, but she hopes that'll pass. They've gotten through a lot worse disasters than that.]
Good. I mean, I just - I really wanted to come through with this. Do we want to ask Derek or is this a give him some more time... type thing?

[And he finishes scarfing the rest of his food.]
