No, Santana caught Erica while she's painting a room. She's wearing the clothing that she first got when she arrived here - most likely from the lost and found - and her hair is barely brushed. It probably looks like she rolled out of bed, ran her fingers through her hair, tied it up, and then got dressed so she could paint the kitchen.

She expects the video to show her Sam or Isaac or even Stiles asking her something random. She doesn't expect Santana.

I didn't realize I was the only Erica here, but I'm dating Sam. [She grins when she says that part, the wary going away for a bit -- because she still gets way too happy thinking about that.]

He mentioned you were here, too. Blaine and then you and Brittany. [Who Sam was for Halloween... which she's still a bit unsure of.] It's weird for me to say that it's good you're here, because who wants to be here... but I think having people from home makes it easier here.

[Santana's first impression isn't a good one, but leave it to Sam Evans to date a mousy blonde who really isn't that attractive. Guess there really isn't anywhere left to go after Brittany and Quinn. They're the best blondes a guy (or girl, she'll admit) can have.

[At the mention of murders Erica decides not to comment on that topic at all. Considering her own situation with the sleepwalking and then the fact that her best friend had been one of the murderers -- that's not a talking point that she'll ever bring up.

Not even with Sam. Still, she just waits for Santana to stop talking so that she can respond to the confusion question that she's been left with.]

Advice? On... what exactly? [She really hopes that this girl isn't opening with awkward personal topics. In fact, she's feeling slightly judged in the moment and her arms go to fold over her chest, protecting herself for a moment.]

[She leans closer, trying to observe.]

Are you wearing any makeup, or is that just your unfortunate complexion playing tricks with these bracelets? Either way, it can use some work. Like, full-on makeover.

[Erica frowns. This... well, Sam said she's a bit blunt, but she didn't expect that.]

I'm... no, I'm not wearing any make-up. I've been painting the kitchen. Why would I -- and I think I'm fine the way I am.

[She has more than enough people telling her how she vamps it up with her fashion and make-up in the future. She can wait for whatever that is all on her own.]

[Wow, Sam really did choose like Queen Meek and Virginal, didn't he? She suppresses the urge to roll her eyes, but only just barely.]

Yeah, okay, so, you never know when someone is going to pop up and video cam you here, so you might want to reconsider that decision.

[Santana, for what it's worth, is always in makeup. Not that that's a particularly bad decision, but on her part, it is probably a blaring signal about her self-esteem issues.]

And no one is ever just fine the way they are, leave that Lady Gaga crap at home, there's like, a million critics of "Born That Way" for a reason.

[Though that, too, is a self-justification that she's been waiting to say for like, three years.]

My decision is fine. I was painting. Why would I get dressed nice to paint a kitchen? And I really don't care if someone decides to video with me. It's my choice if I want to video back and I really don't care what you think of how I look.

Yeah, but why try to make anything in this crappy place look better? Watch, you'll end up being whisked away tomorrow and all your efforts'll be in vain.

[Erica rolls her eyes.]

So, I should just sit on my ass and do nothing while I'm here? That's just idiotic.

I'm recommending that you use your time productively, but I'm gonna guess that you're a talentless hack, among other things.

[That... actually gets her to flinch. It's been a while since she's had someone actually bullying her. In fact, it hasn't happened at all since she arrived in Asgard and for her to hear that sort of tone, the insinuations -- it's not anything that Erica has missed.

She tries not to let it show any deeper than that initial moment of stunned, but she's sure that it is easy for a girl like Santana to pick out. Her jaw tenses, swallowing back the initial reaction that she wants to make -- which would be shutting the video off, but she doesn't think that would be good at all.]

I'm Sam's ex and Sam's got his weird stripper charm all over my girl back home, so I needed to see what distracted him from her. Even if there's apparently some time thing where he doesn't remember that. Whatever.

[Never mind that she has zero investment in Sam due to, well, him being a well-timed beard and ploy to screw with Quinn. But she doesn't mention that.]

But I guess it's not surprising that he had to lower himself to date anyone here.
