He's out. he does his bike messenger thing and with the earthquake i'm sure he's waiting somewhere or avoiding obstacles

sigyn. here ill send you the directions.

[She opens up the map and sends over the directions to him.]

there. if you get lost i can meet you somewhere too.

i should be okay. leaving now, see you soon.

[ About twenty minutes later Sam makes it to Sigyn, a district he doesn't venture into often, but he manages to find the place with Erica's directions and waits after knocking. Luckily there isn't another earthquake on his way over, but he does notice the damage it's caused to the city. He wants to see Erica first before he looks for anyone who might need help. ]

[Erica replies that she'll see him soon and then goes to clean up a bit and brush her teeth. Her hair is in a loose braid when she answers the door, wearing jeans and a loose sweatshirt. She smiles when she sees Sam, gesturing for him to come in.]

It's still sort of being unpacked or moved into. Whichever is the right phrase. [She takes his hand when she shuts the door and leads him into the front room.] I will give you the fastest tour. This is the front room. Couch, stolen from Hel, and the small table I found. [She drags him over to the other way.]

Kitchen. Table. Door through there goes to the screened back porch area. We'll probably put plants out there. [Back to the front room and down the hall.] Bathroom is here and there's another one off my bedroom. [Because she didn't want Isaac to have to share with her again.]

Then guest room - which might be Derek, but it's still in discussions. Then Isaac's room and then this room... [She pulls Sam into the room and shuts the door behind her.]

Is my room. [It's small, but not as small as the room in Hel and there's a small shelf that she already put up with all the little white paper drawn to real toys that Sam has given her. Plus, the shoes she wore to the dance, since she figures she'll never actually have a reason to wear them again. She has her bed and her dresser and the walls are painted a deep teal color. It's the same color as the corset she got from the city a while ago, actually.]

We can run through it again if you missed something.

[ Sam's grateful when Erica takes his hand and immediately distracts him from being depressed about Blaine's absence by showing him around.

It's nice. It feels like a proper home compared to the free housing they get - not that there's anything wrong with the welcome halls. Since Sam lived out of a motel room once, he's definitely not complaining. But he's happy for Erica being in much more homely surroundings to wake up to.

He smiles when he notices the shelf of his toys he made her once they're in her bedroom. ]

Are you gonna test me by making me draw out a floor plan? Because then I might need you to run through it with me again... [ But let's face it, Erica's room is the only room he needs to familiarize himself with, since he'll probably be hiding out in here from Derek and Isaac if she ever invites him over again. ]

Nope. No drawing is required on this one. Just you. [She smiles and moves over toward him, sliding her hand back into his.] I had wanted to ask you over before, but I didn't have much to give a tour for. It would've been here are some walls and some more walls.

[She start to lead him over to the bed so they can sit down.] Now it's some walls and a few pieces of furniture. One of the ladies at the library said she has a chair to give me. I'm not sure what kind of chair... but it's fine. [She sits down and waits for Sam to sit too.]

It's really great, Erica... [ Sam joins her on her bed, trying to be cheerful, but he feels like he's faking it and what he likes the most about being with Erica is not having to pretend to be something he's not with her. ]

Sorry... [ He's obviously distracted about something and it's not actually about Blaine anymore. ] I realized something today and now I can't stop worrying about it. [ He almost doesn't want to tell her in case she worries too. ]

[When he says he's worried about something, she moves to curl in closer to him, trying to be comforting.]

We can talk about whatever it is, Sam. Anything at all. I'm here and I have no plans today at all.

I worked out that I've been here as long as I was in Asgard the first time... before I got sent home. And I was gone a while. [ He realized when someone asked him how long he'd been here. What if there was a pattern to being sent home? ]

I'm worried it might happen again. And I don't wanna go home and forget you.

[Erica isn't sure if there's any closer that she can get to Sam, but she wants to be as close as possible to him. She wraps her arms around him and buries her head against his shoulder, pressing her mouth near his neck as she kisses him softly. Words murmur to his skin quietly as she tries to reassure him.]

Even if you go home and forget -- I won't forget you and if you came back I would just make you fall in love with me all over again. Mustaches and petting zoos...

[She pulls back and meets his eyes.] You're here now, though. It could not happen and you could just stay with me.

[ Sam wants to be just as close to her as she wants to be to him right now, so he pulls her onto his lap, his arms secure around her waist. ]

I think if I forgot and came back, I'd see you and think "I'm totally gonna fall in love with that girl" and it would happen again without you having to do anything but be yourself. [ He meets her gaze. ] I wanna be with you always.

[She believes him, too, mostly because of how they met and just the flow of their conversation that day. She knows that he'd find her, no matter the place. More than knowing it, she almost feels it. Something she can't really explain, but just that she belongs with Sam.

Leaning in closer to him, she rests her forehead to his as her fingers move to brush along his jaw, trying to surround him with herself.]

I wouldn't want it any other way. [Erica moves to kiss him softly, but once she has her lips to his, she lets the kiss linger, pushing in closer and allowing the kiss to deepen.]

[ As much as it sounds like a romantic (albeit tragic) love story, forgetting and then falling in love all over again, Sam would rather it didn't happen. He wants things to stay the way they are.

If he says anything else he'll probably end up repeating himself. Luckily Erica ends up leaning in which results in Sam being engrossed in kissing her for the moment, his hand tracing the length of her spine. ]

[She smiles against his mouth, glad to be a distraction for the moment. A content hum comes from her at the feel of his fingers moving against her spine. It's that light contact that makes her relax even more, probably a bit too relaxed. It's that relaxed state that results in her shifting against his lap - a movement that could be mistaken for her getting closer to him, or more comfortable, but when she rocks back and repeats it again there's probably no mistaking that.]

[ Sam wouldn't call her a distraction, it doesn't feel right to call the girl he totally loves and adores something to just preoccupy him. She's not a video game or a guitar... but she is doing a very good job distracting him. He doesn't think anything of her movement at first, it seems innocent enough. But when the rocking happens again, he starts to get suspicious. And turned on. ] You know what's gonna happen if you keep doing that, right? [ She has to know, she's rocking right against his lap with what seems a lot like intent. ]

[Erica wouldn't really consider herself a distraction, but she doesn't mind occupying his thoughts. She's spent a lot of time herself stuck in her own thoughts and having someone there, someone like Sam that she loves, to keep her from getting pulled into that is something she appreciates - something she loves about him. It's only a distraction if he doesn't want her on his lap kissing him. With intentional rocking.

She nods her head, slightly, kissing him again and then pulling back enough to talk.] Horrible things. Terrible. Awful... [She kisses him again then smirks as she pulls away.] Nope. Wait. Opposite of that.

[ In that case, it's in no way a distraction because he definitely wants her on his lap kissing him with intentional rocking. ]

You are horrible, terrible and awful. [ He kisses her, then pulls back with a similar smirk. ] And by that I mean the total opposite... You want what's gonna happen to happen?

You make it sound like it's a bad thing. [She's teasing and also she's going to kiss him again. Not the quick playful teasing kiss, but something that lingers and hopefully draws him in a bit. Once she pulls away, with a soft nip at his bottom lip, she knows what he's asking and it's not that she hasn't thought about it. They've hung out a lot since the masquerade ball and there has been more than a few times where she thought that maybe, but they haven't and it's not because she feels pressured or because she wants him to think about something else.]

We can always see where what's gonna happen happening... goes. [There's a beat there where she tries to figure out if that's what she meant... Yes. That made sense, she hopes. Most of all she knows that even if it gets to a point that she's not comfortable Sam will stop, but she doesn't want to put the brakes on every time she wants to turn him on.]

[ Sam enjoys the longer kiss for a moment, his hands sliding downwards to cup her butt through her jeans. ]

Whatever keeps you doing what you're doing... [ Because having his girlfriend on his lap rocking against him is definitely not something he'll never get bored of. And he hasn't forgotten about Blaine, but it's hard for him to keep feeling bummed out about losing his friend when his sadness is being replaced by excitement. Besides, it's not like Blaine is dead. He's in a safer place, hopefully reunited with Kurt. Blaine wouldn't want him to be sad right now. ]

[No one wants Sam to be sad right now, least of all Erica. It would be really disappointing if her motions weren't bringing some form of happiness to her boyfriend. There are, after all, certain factors to be considered in this current situation. Erica is aware of all of these factors. The main one being that they aren't sitting on the couch in the front room of the house. No, they're in her bedroom, on her bed, where she'd brought her boyfriend on a tour of the house. A little bit on purpose.]

I can keep doing what I'm doing. [Erica smirks against his mouth, replying coyly as she does exactly as she had stated. Her hands move away from him for a moment and to the bottom of her shirt. It takes just a moment to pull away enough for her to peel the shirt up and off of herself. It's tossed to the floor easily enough and she moves back to leaning in against him, picking up that kissing once more.]

[ Sam's definitely getting a feeling that this might have been why Erica ended her tour in her room. This is by far the best trap he's been caught in. ]

You're really good at it. [ When her hands move away, Sam copies her by pulling his shirt up off himself as well so they're in an equal state of undress. He grins at her before they're back to kissing again, one arm secure around her waist and pulling her in closer. He moves her long hair back over her shoulders so when he breaks the kiss, he can trail kisses down her neck and along her collarbone. ]

[Erica had considered this plan a few times since she'd moved here with Isaac, but she had talked herself out of it each and every time. Not for really solid reasons, but mostly because there were always other things going on. Even now, there had been something else that had happened, but Erica didn't want to wait for the next horrible thing to happen. This one had a slight upside in that Blaine wasn't trapped in a sometimes warzone and Sam hadn't been the one to leave.

That moment of seeing Sam's shirt get tossed aside definitely gets a moment of pause and appreciation before they resume kissing. Erica is also appreciating the friction against herself as she pretty much grinds against her boyfriend's lap. As his mouth trails down her neck, she cants her head to give him more skin to apply his attention to. She really does love his mouth - not just for this, either.]

[ Sam's trying really hard to concentrate on giving her skin the attention it deserves but when Erica starts full-on grinding down into his lap, Sam's a goner. His hands cup her ass as he lifts his hips to meet hers, and he can't help but moan into her neck at how hard she's making him. ]

I love you on my lap, you know that? [ She must know that, it's probably why she seated herself on him in the first place. ] But I'm gonna end up needing to change my pants if you keep doing that. [ He admits embarrassingly. ] You're too hot for your own good.

[She closes her eyes when he moans, a soft smirk tugging on her features. Erica doesn't stop her motions, but she slows them a bit as she tries to run the thoughts that are racing in her head down to a single idea. She likes the feel of his hands against her ass, the way he moves up against her.]

You could always take your pants off. [Though, she knows that won't actually help his problem. Well, it'll help his pants. Her mouth moves toward his ear, a soft breath exhaling slowly with another roll of her lower half.] Sam, I have protection.

[She says it without any sort of doubt or questioning in her tone. Keeping close to him, because even if he doesn't want that, she wants to keep near to him.]
